Kingsbridge Insurance
Not a one-size-fits-all solution: real occupations our insurance protects
With a lot of insurance experience under our belt one thing is clear: no two businesses are the same – and neither is the insurance they could benefit from. From tech startups to tradespeople, creatives to consultants, we’ve been pleased to support a diverse range of industries and professions with cover that does “Right By You”.
Diving into the top sectors we’ve insured so far this year, we want to demonstrate the varied landscape insurance can cover. It’s a reminder why our insurance isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution, so you can get the best coverage the unique risks and realities of your profession.
Plus, we’ll spill the tea on how you can get more benefits every time you refer someone who takes out a policy with us…
Why industry-specific cover matters
Jumping right in with an analogy, you wouldn’t buy a car without thinking about the features you need, right? You’d think about what would fit your lifestyle: number of doors, hatchback or saloon, petrol, diesel or electric, boot space, seat & wheel adjustability etc.
Insurance isn’t much different. Your circumstances, profession, industry, and risks you’re subsequently exposed to will demand different things from your insurance.
For example, a freelancer who predominantly works from home supplying digital services will need different cover than a site manager who regularly visits construction sites. Hence, it’s important to have access to cover that you can adapt to your needs.

How our cover adapts
Designing policies that can suit different professions is how we’re able to service so many industries and occupations. We do that by:
- Providing key covers that suit each policy type (Contractor/Trades/SME)
- Offering optional add-on covers so you can build the coverage you need (e.g. Legal Expenses, Cyber Liability, Plant Cover, Contract Works)
- Allowing a selection of cover limit amounts so you can choose the right level for your circumstances
For example, our Contractor Insurance includes Professional Indemnity, Public Liability, Personal Accident, Employers’ Liability and Directors’ and Officers’ Liability. This can then be tailored with optional add-on covers like Cyber Liability and Legal Expenses.
