Sometimes, when you’re out Christmas shopping, you see so many things that could be perfect for X, Y or Z and you get up going over your initial present budget. Stop this from happening by buying gift cards for specific amounts. It’s a win-win situation – you stick to your budget and the friend or family member gets to go out shopping in the January sales for something they really want
Physically go shopping
Save on postage and go out and get your presents this year. With so many people choosing to buy their Christmas presents online now, the physical shops can offer customers some great deals just to get them to shop in-store. It’s definitely worth a browse!
If buying online, buy from the same shops
OK, not everything from one shop. But if you’re buying something from one shop, see if they have other gifts for other people whilst you’re there. This can sometimes help save on delivery charges. Plus it’ll all come in the same delivery batch so you can make sure you’re in to avoid having to make numerous journeys to the delivery office
Use price comparison sites like Which?
Using sites like these can help you find the best deals on the gifts you want before you purchase them. This will take you longer than your usual Christmas shopping, but it’s worth it if you’re really trying to save some money this year. This site also helps you weed out the products that you should avoid spending your money on.
